Practice Lab: Level Up Your West Coast Swing Practice Lab is your opportunity to refine your West Coast Swing skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Whether your goal is to perfect a new pattern, train a specific technique, or simply level up your social dancing, this practice and feedback session welcomes dancers of all levels. You'll benefit from personalized guidance from instructors Brett & Keri, who will help you pinpoint areas to work on and offer valuable insights. While this session is the perfect launchpad to get competition-ready for the upcoming Easter Swing (April 2nd–5th), anyone is welcome to attend and practice exactly what they want! Tailored Practice: Bring a new pattern or skill you want to master, or get personalized suggestions from Brett & Keri, making it feel like a mini-private lesson. Expert Feedback & Support: Receive direct feedback from rotating partners and get on-the-spot assistance from your instructors to address your unique dance goals. Structured & Inclusive: Enjoy a full 2-hour session of focused practice and social dancing to solidify your progress. We have methods in place to ensure active participation even with uneven leader/follower ratios. No. We will be rotating partners throughout the session, and we have planned methods to ensure everyone stays actively practicing even if there's an uneven number of leaders or followers. What should I come prepared to work on? Whatever you want! Please come with something specific within your dance that you wish to work on. This could be perfecting a new pattern, training a new skill, musicality, connection, or anything else you'd like to improve. If you're not sure, Brett and Keri are happy to provide suggestions. How will I get feedback? You'll receive feedback from your rotating partners after each practice segment. Additionally, Brett and Keri will be actively providing guidance and answering any questions you have regarding the content you're working on.
